Once again Sue McGinty has given us a riveting story set in the scenic splendor of the California Central Coast. Bella Kowalski’s compulsion for community service and her curiosity for the people locked into the isolated hamlet of Los Lobos lead the former nun into a life and death situation involving the homeless. The story's climatic twist gave me chills.
A really, really good read.
